Donations and Refunds Policy — Naruto Chronicles

This Policy is part of the Terms and Conditions of Use. In case of conflict about donations, this Policy prevails.

1. What a donation is

1.1. Naruto Chronicles is free to play. The costs of hosting, domain and maintenance are covered by voluntary donations from players.

1.2. As a thank-you, those who donate receive Chronicles Coins, a virtual currency for use exclusively inside the game. Donating is never mandatory.

2. How to donate

2.1. On the website, you choose a package and the character that will receive the coins, and pay through PayPal (card or PayPal balance).

2.2. Payment is processed exclusively by PayPal. We do not see or store card numbers. We keep only the order data: PayPal order id, amount, currency, status and date.

2.3. The packages, prices and billing currency are those shown in the shop at the time of payment. They may change at any time, without affecting donations already completed.

2.4. Fees, exchange rates and taxes charged by PayPal or by your bank are your responsibility.

3. Delivery of Chronicles Coins

3.1. After payment is confirmed, the coins are delivered automatically.

3.2. The coins always arrive in the "Store Inbox" of the chosen character, never in the backpack or on the ground. The game notifies you with a message when they arrive.

3.3. Each order has a tracking number and a status page on the website.

3.4. Check the character before paying. Coins delivered to the character you chose will not be moved to another one afterwards.

4. Nature of Chronicles Coins

4.1. Chronicles Coins are not money, have no real monetary value, cannot be redeemed for money and cannot be sold, traded or transferred for real money outside the game.

4.2. You receive a limited, personal and revocable license to use the coins inside the game. They do not create a right of ownership.

4.3. The coins may be lost if the account is banned for violating the Terms, and cease to exist if the server is shut down.

5. Refund policy

5.1. General rule: donations are not refundable once the Chronicles Coins have been delivered.

5.2. Exceptions. We will consider a refund, or a correction, in these cases:

• duplicate charge for the same order;
• delivery error (payment confirmed and coins not delivered) that we cannot resolve;
• mandatory consumer rights that the applicable law recognizes for you and that cannot be waived by contract.

5.3. Deadline and method: send an e-mail to info@narutochronicles.com within 30 days of the donation, with the order number, the account name and the character. We reply within 30 days. Whenever possible, the preferred solution is to deliver the missing coins rather than return the money.

5.4. Refunds, when due, are made through PayPal, by the same means as the payment.

6. Right of withdrawal

6.1. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a digital purchase, that right is lost when the digital content is delivered with your prior express consent and with your acknowledgement that you lose that right.

6.2. By confirming the donation on the website, you request the immediate delivery of the Chronicles Coins and acknowledge that, after delivery, you lose the right of withdrawal, to the extent the law allows that loss.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

7.1. If you open a dispute or chargeback with PayPal or your bank without first contacting us, the account and characters may be suspended while the dispute lasts.

7.2. If the dispute is decided in your favor, the corresponding Chronicles Coins may be removed from the account. If the dispute is unjustified or fraudulent, we may ban the account.

8. Minors

8.1. Donations made by anyone under 18 require authorization from a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the payment. By donating, the minor declares to have that authorization and the guardian, by authorizing, assumes the payment.

9. Bans, wipes and shutdown

9.1. Ban for violating the Terms: loss of coins and items, with no refund.

9.2. Wipes, rollbacks and maintenance: may occur at any time.

9.3. 45-day protection in case of a server wipe (reset): if the server undergoes a wipe (reset) that erases the Chronicles Coins or the bonuses obtained through a donation, and that wipe occurs within 45 calendar days of the date of the donation, the Team undertakes to deliver again the Chronicles Coins that the donation had generated, even if they have already been spent. Example: a donation that generated 100 Chronicles Coins and a wipe on day 44 entitle you to receive another 100 Chronicles Coins. Conditions:

• the restitution is made in Chronicles Coins (never in money), in the Store Inbox of the character named in the donation or, if it no longer exists, of another character on the same account;
• it applies to each donation individually, counting the 45 days from the date of each one;
• the donation must have been confirmed and delivered, and the account must not have been banned for violating the Terms;
• after 45 calendar days have passed, there is no restitution;
• rollbacks, maintenance and fixes that are not a wipe do not give a right to restitution.

The Team will make the restitution automatically or, if necessary, after the player contacts us by e-mail with the order number.

9.4. Server shutdown: there is no refund of donations already delivered, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights recognized by the applicable law.

10. Availability

10.1. The Service is provided with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation. Failures of PayPal, the internet or the server may delay delivery. In that case, the deadlines and procedure of clause 5 apply.
